Commercial Flooring Solutions on Show at the Surface & Materials Show

Flowcrete UK will be joining the nation’s construction industry when it gathers in Birmingham for the UK Construction Week, where it will showcase to industry leaders, commentators, suppliers and end users the visually appealing, highly functional resin surfaces that can be created within large-scale developments.

From 6th – 11th October, the NEC will become a melting pot of all the stakeholders within the built environment and a hotbed of debate about the sector’s key topics, new technologies and important issues.

Located on stand SM2/211 of the Surface Materials Show, one of the nine shows taking place simultaneously during the event, Flowcrete UK will be on hand to discuss the flooring demands of the UK’s most complex building projects and how resin systems can be tailored to meet a site’s specific aesthetic, hygiene, safety and longevity requirements.

Visitors to the show can find out how different resin flooring formulations can provide them with particular properties and benefits. Flowcrete UK’s expert team will be available to talk through the various options that are available to help the show’s attendees work out which type of resin floor is right for them.

For example the seamless resin terrazzo range Mondéco deliverseye-catching surfaces that can maintain a visually impressive surface despite heavy foot traffic and intensive use. This was exemplified at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro arena; where over 500mof Mondéco Classic was installed in the VIP rooms. The result was a smooth surface of iridescent black that will be able to retain its seamless, luxurious finish in the face of large numbers of revellers and the inherent challenges of such a large facility.

On Flowcrete’s stand architects, contractors and developers can also find out how the fast curing formulation of Flowcrete UK’s methyl methacrylate (MMA) enhanced Flowfast range is able to create decorative, hard wearing surfaces within a fraction of the time of alternative materials.
